Snow Stars Winners
After a hugely successful and popular Snow Stars Contest we are pleased to announce the overall ski and snowboard winners for 2010.
Ski Stars
The 1st Place Ski Snow Stars Contest winner, winning up to £1000 worth of ski development, clothing and equipment, is:
Rae Atkin
Aged 9 from Warrington.
Snowboard Stars
The 1st Place Snowboard Snow Stars Contest winner, winning up to £1000 worth of snowboard development, clothing and equipment, is:
Faisal Awan
Aged 11 from Neston, Merseyside.
Runner up Snow Stars winners are:
- Ski 2nd Place - Claire Barnes
- Ski 3rd Place - Lewis Bamber
- Snowboard 2nd Place - Matthew Brooks
- Snowboard 3rd Place - Adam Afzal
The two-day talent contest, saw youngsters flock to Chill Factore to be in with the chance of becoming Chill Factore’s very own skiing and snowboarding stars of the future.
The Snow Stars talent contest provided hundreds of children with a free introduction to skiing and snowboarding and has identified a wealth of raw and budding talent. We look forward to seeing the Snow Stars Contest becoming part of Chill Factore’s annual calendar of events, further developing the concept and helping realise the importance of developing future talent.
This initiative has received support from top British skiers Alain Baxter and Graham Bell who have endorsed the competition alongside young, proven Chill Factore snowboard ambassadors Tom ‘Tomski’ Robinson, Jordy Gee and race skier Eliya Beelaert-Rubin.
Chill Factore would like to wish all of our winners good luck in their development and we look forward to seeing them and all other Snow Stars entrants on the slopes soon.
