Not sure where to start or which Snowboard lesson to take?

If you are new to the sport of snowboarding and would like to give it a go we suggest you try one of our Taster Lessons, which will give you a fun and informative introduction to this exciting pastime.

For those of you who want to jump in and learn how Chill Factore’s Beginner Lessons will give you the solid foundation of basic skills needed for future development.

We have a range of Beginner Lessons, which will teach you the skills you need. You can learn all in one day (Day Lesson) over two days in the school holidays (Holiday Course), at the same time each week over three weeks (Beginner Course) or on individual levels (levels 1, 2 & 3).

By the end of your Beginner Course you should be somewhere near our main slope minimum standard, however, if you need a little more practice we offer a Guided Practice Session.
These take place on the beginner slope under the supervision of an instructor, on hand to give tips and advice. They will also offer an introduction to the ‘Poma lift’ during every session for those who need one.

The main slope at Chill Factore is a challenging fifteen degrees designed to maximise the enjoyment of recreational riders, equivalent to an easy red run in the Alps. This slope angle can intimidate less experienced borders.  Improver Lessons are specifically designed with this in mind. Building on the basic techniques and developing confidence enabling you to make the most of the exciting terrain.  These courses are available in one day (Day Lesson), over two days in the school holidays (Holiday Course), over three weeks at the same time each week (Improver Course) or on individual levels (levels 4, 5 & 6).

Now you can tackle the main slope, it’s time to feel the flow and build on the basic techniques with a Rider Development Session.  The Rider Development Sessions will enable you to develop your technique and style to ride the hill the way you want to.

As for the seasoned rider why not stretch the envelope of performance and try one of our Specialist coaching sessions, The Subvert Academy or an Pre-Instructor Training Course?

Some prefer the attention and flexibility of one to one tuition. For those amongst you we offer our Private Lessons, these can be tailored to you individual needs. Where additional lessons are required specific instructors can be requested.
