The Hardware

Before you can hit our real snow slopes, you need to get kitted out with the right equipment.

Whether you’re learning to ski or snowboard or just practicing your skills, you’ll be pleased to know that the price of your booking includes boots, skis and poles, or a snowboard, and a helmet.

If you’re set to experience some serious snow fun with our Luge, Tubing, Sledging or Snowplay, your booking includes the hire of snowboots, a helmet and the appropriate equipment for your chosen activity, such as a Luge mat or a Tubing ring which will be provided next to the activity!

Clothing is not included in the price of your activity but for a small fee you can hire waterproof jacket and trousers by pre-booking or on arrival (subject to availability. We highly recommend this, as it’s incredibly cold up on our slope!

You are welcome to bring your own suitable clothing. You’ll need to wear:

• Warm Clothing, preferably waterproof
• Thick socks
• Gloves (compulsory)

Hats and gloves can be purchased from Chill Factor^e, as can a wealth of ski and snowboard wear and equipment from the array of leading outdoor equipment shops on our Alpine Street. If you intend to be a regular at Chill Factor^e why not treat yourself to your own skis or snowboard and master the slope with your own equipment?
