Chill Factore is proud to be the 2010 winner of the Manchester Tourism ‘Access for All’ award which recognises excellence in accommodating the needs of guests with disabilities.
Disability Snowsport UK
Disability Snowsport UK is a nationwide registered charity, based at Chill Factore.
We provide adaptive skiing for individuals with any disability, including physical, sensory and learning difficulties.
By using adaptive equipment and specialist instruction and support, we are able to cater for even those with very limited mobility, so we’ll have you whizzing down the slope in no time!

DSUK is a people-centred organisation with a unique sense of purpose: that anyone, regardless of their disability, can take part in and enjoy the thrill of snowsport.
For nearly 30 years we have applied exceptional know-how and adaptability to enable those with a disability to experience the joy of skiing alongside the able-bodied.
We provide exciting and life enhancing activities for individuals or groups who require adaptive equipment and/or special instruction and support.

Disability Snowsports UK Access For All Race - 17th May
Don’t miss out this great opportunity to take part in Disability Snowsport UK’s Access For All Race event. The Access For All Race event provides the opportunity for anybody with or without a disability to race, whether competitively or not! It's open to all abilities so as long as you can ski the main slope, come and join us!
Registration Fee:
- DSUK Member - £15
- Non DSUK Member - £20.

Disability Snowsports UK Skiathon 2013
Don’t miss out this great opportunity to take part in Disability Snowsport UK’s National Skiathon 2013, a unique event now in its fifth year. All your team has to do is ski or board 666 run of your local ski slope together with skiing celebrities, the British Disabled Ski Team and some of the UK’s top freestylers
and help raise money for skiers with disabilities.
Registration Fee:
Early bird offer valid until end of February 2013 - £54 per team of 6
- £66 per team of 6 thereafter (a saving of £12 per team of 6)
- Each team of 6 has to raise a minimum of £666 and highest fundraising team wins a prize.
