Disability Snowsport UK is a nationwide registered charity, based at Chill Factore.
We provide adaptive skiing for individuals with any disability, including physical, sensory and learning difficulties.

By using adaptive equipment and specialist instruction and support, we are able to cater for even those with very limited mobility, so we’ll have you whizzing down the slope in no time!

About Disability Snowsport UK

DSUK is a people-centred organisation with a unique sense of purpose: that anyone, regardless of their disability, can take part in and enjoy the thrill of snowsport.

For nearly 30 years we have applied exceptional know-how and adaptability to enable those with a disability to experience the joy of skiing alongside the able-bodied.

We provide exciting and life enhancing activities for individuals or groups who require adaptive equipment and/or special instruction and support.

Disability Snowsport UK is now taking entries for the London Santa Run 2011

Come and join us once more at Battersea Park on Saturday 3rd December to take part in our fifth annual Santa Run and help raise valuable funds for our charity, Disability Snowsport UK.

The 6k fun run is the charity’s biggest fundraising events pulling in participants from miles around. It starts at 10am (with registration and suit collection from 8.30am) and participants are welcome to run, walk or wheel their way round – as the course is wheelchair friendly.  All runners receive a Santa suit to wear on the day; you can imagine the Christmassy spectacle of up to 2,500 Santa’s all running around the park so even if you don’t want to take part just take a break from your Christmas shopping and come to cheer everyone on!

We’d like our runners to raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship each in addition to the entrance fee of £20. If every runner does this, it could raise a huge amount for Disability Snowsport UK, enabling the charity to help thousands of people with disabilities to take part in snowsports in the UK and overseas with the help of specialist adaptive instructors and equipment

Entries can be done by completing the attached registration form and return to fundraising@disabilitysnowsport.org.uk.
