Santa’s elves will have been in touch with you up to 7 days before your experience to find out a bit more about your little ones so that your live video call can be fully personalised to your family. Our video calls are 100% live; you and your family will be speaking directly to Santa from his grotto here at Chill Factore and you can expect some magical interactive surprises along the way.

We recommend you use a high speed internet connection such as your internet provider at home and we advise that you remain in one place for the duration of the call.

For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop computer or laptop, however a smartphone or tablet will do just fine. Your device will require access to a camera, so Father Christmas can see you. It’s best to set up your technology on a table, which will keep the camera steady and make sure you get the best experience.

Your video call will last up to 5 minutes and it can really depend on how chatty your children are. If your call was to run over, the call would not be cut off.

Your video call can include all children within your household however please be aware that the planned duration of the call will remain the same, therefore the more children there are on the call, the less time Santa will have to talk to each of them individually. For this reason, we advise that any additional households that you may wish to add onto your booking only include other adults e.g. grandparents.

We use the highest spec technology for our Santa video call experience and it has been robustly tested, so we do not anticipate any technical issues. We ask that you use a reliable internet connection during the call and, in the event of a technical issue we will reschedule your video call.

What will I need to do after booking my video call?

Our elves will be in touch with you to ask you a few questions about your family to make the experience extra magical and personalised to you. This will be things like your child’s name, what they want for Christmas, what school they go to, their best friend’s name, etc. but the conversation between Santa and your child will be entirely unique to you. You will also receive a email containing a link to the video call and a link to where you’ll be able to access and download your video from once the call has finished.
