The Snow Park and Mini Moose Land area will be transformed into Santa's Grotto, with Santa making his home away from home on our snow.

Why is a visit to Santa at Chill Factore so unique?

Why is a visit to Santa at Chill Factore so unique? Show

Ah that’s easy. It’s because all visits to Santa are combined with an activity out in the snow. Children under 4 (0-3 years old) can play in Mini Moose Land, where we have snow tunnels and a mini Downhill Donuts track. If you’re children are aged 4+, you can enjoy the thrills of all our activities in the Snow Park - Sledge 'O' Mania, Downhill Donuts, the Luge Slip 'n' Slide and the Snow Luge.

What should we all wear?

What should we all wear? Show

Don’t forget, it’s cold out on the snow (-3 degrees in fact) so you’ll need warm clothing. You can choose to wear your own or hire our jackets and trousers for only £8 a set. For footwear you can wear your own as long as they are waterproof and above the ankle (E.g clean wellies, walking boots). You can also hire snow play boots from the clothing desk.

Everyone going on to the snow for activities is automatically supplied with a helmet, but you can also bring your own.

When booking to see Santa select one adult and junior for the Santa and Mini Moose land visit and one adult and one junior for Santa and Snow Park visit. You will notice that the times are different by 15 minutes, please book and arrive in time for the first session. You will go and see Santa together before heading to play in the age related area afterwards. An adult would be required to supervise the children in each area. Adults can swap over part way through to allow each adult to play with each child on the snow.

Head straight to the Santa’s Grotto Desk (to the right of the Guest Services queue). Here we’ll print your tickets.

If you need snow boots and warm clothing before your visit to Santa, you will be directed to the changing village to get kitted out in your snow gear.

After your visit to Santa, you’ll go straight into either Mini Moose Land (Under 4's) or the Snow Park (Over 4's). Guests visiting Mini Moose Land will go straight onto the snow after their Santa visit and guests visiting Snow Park will need to go back into the changing village onto the benches, where you'll be briefed before heading out to play in the snow.

How long will we have to queue?

How long will we have to queue? Show

The queue usually takes around 30 minutes and whilst we try to encourage Santa not to ‘ho ho ho’ for too long, he does like to chat to children and so the queue can, during peak periods, take a bit longer.

Santa's Helpers are here to make the experience enjoyable and there’s usually something going on whilst you wait. Guests who arrive on the day with no ticket may be subjected to longer wait times during busy periods if they are able to purchase a ticket.
