The Path to PyeongChang

February 2018 brings the return of the Winter Olympics, which will be hosted in PyeongChang, South Korea. There are 15 different sports with 98 events including; Alpine skiing, Cross-country skiing, Freestyle skiing, Ice hockey, Luge, Ski jumping, Snowboarding Speed skating and much more. To celebrate this major sporting event we will be hosting a range of events and themed activities. Being the largest indoor slope in the UK at 180m, the Chill Factore is the ideal place to undertake snowsport activities, which not only tie into the Olympic Games but also allow your pupils and students the chance to try something brand new. Whether you are looking for an introduction into snow sports with a taster lesson, or booking a set of lessons ready for the long runwe have BASI qualified instructors who are highly experienced in teaching all ages and levels to ensure that no one is left behind

Commando Joe’s

Commando Joe’s, founded in 2009 by ex-Commando and PTI Instructor Mike Hamilton, is here in Manchester very own Chill Factore. His team now deliver programmes for the Department of Education and work with over 350 schools a year, delivering unique learning resources direct to schools. GCSE Assessment Evenings

We will be running evening GCSE PE Nights to help your staff conduct GCSE coursework assessments for pupils completing GCSE PE in Snowsports . For more information please email schools@chillfactore.com. If you would be interested in bringing pupils to these assessment evenings as they will be booked on a first come first served basis.
