SubJam is back for 2022! Now in its 15th year, SubJam will hit the Chill Factore Main Slope for a jam-packed session of explosive freestyle action to raise funds for Christie’s Hospital!
The event kicks off on Saturday 8th October from 4pm. SubJam is ‘jam’ packed with activities starting from 4pm. SubJam raises money for The Christie, a Manchester based charity that supports the development of cancer prevention, treatment, research and education, with up to £25 of every ticket sold being donated to this important cause – and this year hopes to raise even more than ever before!
What are the minimum requirements to book onto SubJam?
SubJam requirements
In order to book on to SubJam and go on the Main Slope here at Chill Factore there are minimum standards.
If
you were still looking to donate to the cause but can’t ski or
Snowboard, you can always buy some Raffle tickets from Subvert!
To go on the Main Slope we ask that you:
- Wear the correct clothing.
- Wear a Helmet
- Can control your speed and direction.
- Stop safely.
- Are comfortable with variable piste conditions.
- Can link your turns.
- Are able to use the button lift without assistance.
If you’re not sure you meet all of the above requirements or need access to our beginner slope, it is best to book a Ski or Snowboard Lesson (only Chill Factore lessons can access our beginner slope) for more guidance before booking onto SubJam. If you are missing these requirements and go on SubJam you will be asked to leave the main slope for your’s and others safety and your pass will not be refunded.

SubJam is the big event from 4pm! Come down for some freestyle fun!
SubJam - 4:00pm - 8:00pm
SubJam Super Pass - 4:00pm - 10:00pm
You can book to either shred from 4:00pm - 8pm or 4:00pm - 10:00pm, so you can shred until 10:00pm if you weren’t planning on going to the Raffle in The Lodge at 8:00pm.
£20 of every Subjam ticket sold is being donated to The Christie
£25 of every SubJam Super Pass ticket sold is being donated to The Christie.
