English Indoor Slopestyle Championship

Yes, its back, for all you championship worthy riders your chance is here again to go for gold. The English Indoor Slopestyle Championship is being hosted by Chill Factore and we’re looking for the best riders throughout the UK. On the 25th of June you can take part in one of the UK’s most prestigious snow sport championships and prove your worth on the snow.

The event is half a day split between snowboarders in the morning and Skiers later in the afternoon. The full time table for the event is as follows:

*Please note that there are different times for both snowboarders and skiers*

Timetable Snowboard

The Snowboarding competition is as follows:

o    8am – 9am – Registration & bib collection

o    9am –10am – Open Practice

o    10am – 10.30am – Course Shaping

o    10.30am – 12.30pm – Snowboard Qualification (2 runs)

o    1pm – 1.45pm – Finals


Timetable Ski

The Skiing competition is as follows:

o    1pm – 2pm – Registration & bib collection

o    2pm – 3pm – Open Practice

o    3pm – 3.30pm – Course Shaping

o    3.30pm – 5.30pm – Ski Qualification (2 runs)

o    6pm – 6.45pm – Finals


Age Categories

With 5 different age ranges to compete it doesn’t matter if you’re an upcoming star or a season veteran, there is still a title with your name on. We are glad to be having such as wide range of ages competing in this year’s English Championships. Age groups are as follows:

o    Kids – Under 12

o    Youths – Under 16

o    Junior – Under 21

o    Open Age – 1995 – 1987

o    Masters – 1986 and before

For each age category there will be a prize available for each finalist. If two or more athletes from the same age category qualify for the final then the winner will be decided on points scored. So what are you waiting for? It’s the battle between the generations, raw talent vs. new talent, experience vs. skill, class vs. heart and all out spirit for the snow sport competition.
