Clothing & equipment

It’s called Chill Factore for a reason, so expect it to be cold – although it soon warms up when you’re active!

You’ll need to wear:

  • Warm & waterproof clothing
  • Thick socks
  • Gloves (compulsory)
  • Snow appropriate shoes (e.g clean wellies, walking boots)

You're welcome to bring your own adequate clothing or you can hire a waterproof jacket, trousers and snow play boots from the changing village. If you do not have a hat or gloves, you can purchase these from Chill Factore. You can bring your own boots for Snow Park / Mini Moose Land activities then please ensure that they are clean, robust, above the ankle and have a good treatment suitable for snowy conditions. Trainers are not suitable.

Lift pass and lesson prices include boots, skis, poles, snowboard and helmets but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Skis and Snowboards are included in the price of all lessons and lift passes. All Snow Park equipment, for example, rings and sledges, are included in the price of your Snow Park pass.

We recommend pre-booking your clothing hire but it can be hired on the day subject to availability. Clothing size can be found below.
