Ski Polar Bears

The Polar Bear courses are a great way for kids to learn new and exciting skills on the snow slopes and have something cool to tell their mates!

The three levels of the Polar Bear courses are developed for children aged 7 to 12 years of age only.

Although parents and guardians are not able to join us on the slope, they can watch the Polar Bears from the viewing balcony - accessible via the upstairs Mont Blanc restaurant.

Beginner Course

The Polar Bears Beginner Course is the most cost effective way for your child to progress through our levels. Once each level is successfully completed they can continue onto the improver course.

The Entry level requirement: Complete beginner or taster lesson standard.

The Beginner levels can either be taken as a course, covering 3 levels over 3 weeks. This will consist of a 1 hour 50 minute lesson to be taken at the same time, on the same day, over 3 consecutive weeks. Or if your children are busy bees and action packed, you can take each level individually.

Week / Level 1 - Flat sliding exercises, straight running exercises, snow plough gliding.
Week / Level 2 - Snow plough to control speed, introduction to snow plough turning.
Week / Level 3 - Linked turns on beginner slope, then moving on the lower main slope (subject to main slope standard being achieved).

Beginner Fastrack (2 day course)

Over the two days, the following will be taught:
Level 1 - Flat sliding exercises, straight running exercises, snow plough gliding.
Level 2 - Snow plough to control speed, introduction to snow plough turning.
