Our Beginner Snowboard Lessons will help you build a solid foundation of fundamental snowboarding skills, such as getting a feel for your board, learning to steer your way down the slope and also linking your turns.

We offer a variety of snowboard beginner’s lessons that are designed to fit around you and your schedule, so you can learn to snowboard at a time that suits you.

Beginner Individual Levels

All our beginners courses are split in to 3 levels so if you’re looking for a little more flexibility when learning to snowboard, then this option allows you to complete the full course in three separate level stages, rather than commit to one of our Snowboard Day Lessons. This way you can stagger your learning and pay for each lesson as you progress onto the next level – think of it as pay as you board!

You will need to complete individual levels 1-3 in order to complete a beginner course.

What are the aim of the levels? Show

Level 1

When you take a level 1 snowboarding lesson your instructor will focus on controlling your speed on your toe and heel edge, as well as getting you acquainted with the equipment and your balance.

Level 2

So you can control your speed on the toe and heel edge but now you'd like to learn how to travel diagonally and steer straight?

Then you need a Level 2 Snowboard Lesson! When you take a level 2 lesson your instructor will focus on getting you travelling diagonally across the beginner slope on your toe and heel edges, as well as steering straight and back.

Level 3

So you can travel diagonally across the slope, make a basic turn and steer but you'd like to link them all together?

Well, you're in the right place! When you take a Snowboard level 3 lesson your instructor will begin on the beginner slope - focussing on turns and linking them together. You'll then move on to the lower main slope to learn how to use the button lift.
