Are you ready for a new skiing challenge, do you want to push yourself harder on the slopes?




Intro to race may be just the challenge you need to move on your skiing prowess and take your skiing up to the next level.




As well as introducing you to race training, this course is about performance skiing and giving you the chance to improve your own ability to pick your line, whilst challenging yourself here at Chill Factore and the mountain.




Our trained, qualified and dedicated coaches will teach you how to tackle different courses and terrains, whilst you grow in confidence and increase your speeds.




The sessions last’s for an hour and 50 minutes and has been expertly designed to provide you with skills and confidence through:




  • Drills and exercises, designed to challenge. The repetition of these exercises in these sessions and personal skiing time will improve your performance




  • Skiing a course (utilizing brushes and stubbies)




These sessions are designed for adults only (no under 16’s please click here for Kids Race Academy) who are independent slope users and have completed the developer level course and are confident in skiing from the top of the main slope




Our qualified coaches will develop you in these sessions and provide invaluable advice which will take you from Intro to race training (please click here for details on race training) into a whole new level of slope action.












Intro to Race Training

Minimum Age: 16+ | Activity Duration: 2 hours | Group size: 15 guests




Peak & Off Peak Times


Off-Peak: 7:30pm - 9:30pm, weekdays.
Peak: 7:30pm - 9:30pm weekdays, all weekends, bank holidays and selected school holidays.


Price Categories


Junior: Aged 16 and under
Adult: Aged 17-64
Senior: Ages 65 and over qualify for junior rates
Guests:  All visitors who aren't Chill Factore members.
Members: Chill Factore members, membership proof is required for this price category.


Please note that all skiers must meet the minimum main slope standard, be comfortable skiing a speed, perform a variety of turns and be able to change their rhythm to join in a race training session.
