Lift Pass requirements
In order to use your lift pass here at Chill Factore there are minimum standards, we ask that you:
- Wear the correct clothing.
- Wear a Helmet
- Can control your speed and direction.
- Stop safely.
- Are comfortable with variable piste conditions.
- Can link your turns.
- Are able to use the button lift without assistance.
If you're not sure you meet all of the above requirements or need access to our beginner slope, it is best to book a Ski or Snowboard Lesson (only Chill Factore lessons can access our beginner slope) for more guidance before getting a lift pass. If you are missing these requirements and go on a lift pass you will be asked to leave the main slope for your’s and others safety and your pass will not be refunded.

Beginner Class
Our Beginner Class is designed for Junior’s who have never skied before or who have skied once or twice before but it’s been several months/a year since the last time they were on skis. This class is designed to cover Level 1 & 1b, to find out more about our Kids Ski Lesson programme by viewing our Kids Learning Journey
Green Class (4-6 Only)
Our Green Class for 4-6 year olds is designed for Junior’s who are at the Level 2a or 2b standard. They have skied before, can put their own skis on & off and stand up on their own after a fall. They should also be comfortable gliding down the slope and starting to develop their snow plough.

Green Class (7-11 & 11-16)
Our Green Class is designed for Juniors who are ready Level 2 standard.
They should be comfortable gliding down the slope, can hold a solid snow plough and they should be starting to develop its size and shape.

Beginner Class
Our Beginner Class is designed for Junior’s who have never snowboarded before, had brief experience and still working on side slipping or are at the Level 1 standard. This class will aim to cover an introduction to Snowboarding and learn how to sideslip on both toe and heel edge.

Our Green Class is designed for Junior’s who are at the Level 2 standard, or are able to side slip on both edges independently (without being held).
