With this looming on the horizon, now is your chance to consider adding a thrilling new activity to your kid’s schedule. Forget playing football and homework club, imagine the look on your kids’ face when they glide down the slopes and swoop around on their skis.

Skiing and snowboarding lessons are a fantastic way for your children to learn new skills, make new friends, and have an exciting time all at once. So, grab your scarf and gloves and get ready as we’re about to delve into exciting after school activities for kids at Chill Factore and explore the incredible benefits of enrolling your little ones in snowsports!

The benefits of snowsports for kids

Skiing or snowboarding lessons aren’t just about adrenaline-fueled fun; they also offer a whole range of physical and mental benefits for children. Engaging in these sports helps improve balance, coordination, and overall fitness.

Plus, the joy of conquering the slopes boosts confidence, perseverance, and a sense of achievement in your child’s developing personality. It’s a fantastic way to instill a love for an active lifestyle at a young age. It is often the hobbies and activities enjoyed as a child that we continue into our adult life.

The social side of snowsports

One of the greatest advantages of ski or snowboard lessons is the social element they offer. Enrolling your kids in group lessons not only introduces them to new skills but also to a group of peers who share their passion.

Through friendly competition, teamwork, and shared experiences, they’ll forge lasting friendships that extend far beyond the slopes. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to expand their social circle and develop essential social skills while having an absolute blast!

Why opt for after school activities for kids at Chill Factore

Here at Chill Factore, we are firm believers that every child should have the chance to explore and try new activities. As said by our very own ski instructor, Stuart Langley: “Get your kids on the snow from a young age, and they will grow to be truly at one with their skis.”

Our kids’ ski lessons are specifically designed for all ages and abilities, ensuring that all children have the chance to learn at their own pace. We all learn in different ways after all, so our lesson structures are no different. If you’re looking for an exhilarating and productive activity for your little ones to get stuck into, look no further than Chill Factore.

Our experience instructors

As goes with any activity, safety is paramount, especially for children. Rest assured though, we pride ourselves on having highly experienced instructors who will prioritise your child’s well-being and safety.

Our instructors are not only highly capable at teaching the fundamentals but they have extensive training in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Your kids will be in good hands, enabling you to relax and enjoy watching their progress with peace of mind.

Tailored lessons for all ages

Whether your child is a tiny tot or a budding youngster, there are tailored lessons available for every age and skill level here at Chill Factore.

We have a range of ski lessons available, starting at ski lessons for 4 year olds through to lessons for 11-16 year olds. Starting from the age of four, our Kids Snow School offers exciting lessons specifically designed for our littlest learners. These lessons are divided into five stages, allowing children to gradually develop their skills and gain confidence on the snow. By the end of these lessons, they will be able to link turns, control their speed, and feel at ease on the slopes.

From this point onwards, your child can continue to learn how to ski and snowboard with us up to the age of 16, providing a solid foundation for a lifetime of confident skiing and snowboarding. Not only does it equip them with essential skills, but it also opens doors to unforgettable snow-based holidays and even potential career opportunities in the future.

At Chill Factore, our friendly and experienced instructors act as personal mentors out on the snow during all kids’ ski lessons. We ensure a maximum ratio of one instructor per six children, which means that your child’s individual development is closely monitored and children are able to ask for one-on-one advice and guidance. This allows for a more personal experience and helps children gain their confidence in a safe space.
