At Chill Factore, we offer a variety of skiing lessons for those seeking to improve their technique, skills and confidence on the slopes.

We have designed our Ski Developer Lessons to encourage your expertise and help you to build your pace from the top of our real snow slope and complete skiing techniques, including parallel turns.

2 Hour Skills Development Lesson

On our 2-hour Skills Development Ski Group Lesson your Coaches will guide you over multiple sessions to develop ongoing performance including technique to varied terrain, refining posture or improving steering skills. You’ll start to experiment varying turn shapes, and enjoy the exhilaration of speed.

The 2-hour lesson includes a complimentary drink in The Lodge Bar & Kitchen with your instructor whilst you get your lesson feedback.

5-Hour Adult Ski Skills Development Day (5 Hours of tuition, with an hour break)

The Skills Development Day is aimed at those who have been practicing their parallel skiing with Lift Passes either at Chill Factore or in the mountains. Your coach will help you develop your shorter and longer turns and how you blend the steering and edging elements as well as dealing with varied snow conditions.

N.B. To get the most out of your

visit, we recommend our 5 Hour Ski Day Lessons for those who regularly

participate in other sports activities.

Lunch and refreshments in The Lodge Bar & Kitchen are included with your day course.

Private Ski Lessons

Private Ski Lessons for Advanced Skiers 

In addition to our programme of group skiers lessons, we also offer private lessons for individuals or small groups looking to develop advanced skills in sessions completely tailored to their needs. For more information on private ski lessons visit our Private Ski Lessons page.

Things you need to know:

  • We have changing cubicles available & Lockers are available to store your belongings, which take a £1 coin or a locker token. These are returnable.
  • We can offer our disabled guests changing facilities.
  • Aim to arrive 45 minutes to an hour before the start time of your lesson, to give ample time to get prepared.
  • Price of your lesson still includes boots, skis, poles, or a snowboard and a helmet
  • Gloves are compulsory - you can bring your own or purchase a pair on-site.
  • Helmets are mandatory - you can bring your own if you have one, or you can rent a borrow when you get here at no extra charge. You can also purchase a helmet on site.
  • Age restrictions still apply.
  • Please note, we are only taking card payments at this time and no cash will be able to be accepted.
  • On arrival please have your booking reference to hand (you can find this on your booking confirmation email). You can collect your tickets from the Guest Services desk, or from the Self-Service ticket machines situated near Reception. If your booking confirmation has a QR code, you can scan this at the self-service machines to check-in.

Kids’ skiing lessons

Our ski lessons are the perfect option for both child and adult learners alike. However, if you’re keen to get your youngster or school class into the sport, check out our Kids’ Ski School for ski coaching specifically designed for young learners.

What clothing and equipment do you need?

The booking fee includes ski boots, skis, poles and a helmet. Gloves are essential and you can also purchase them for £7.50. You are advised to wear a waterproof jacket and trousers, which can be hired if needed.
