How to learn snowboarding: fast and fun!

Learning how to snowboard has never been so straightforward! If you’re interested in exactly which skiing level you are currently at, then take a look at our individual levels information to find out. From Level 1 to Level 9, discover a snowboarding practice tailored to your specific skill-set and feel your confidence soar (like you will be doing on the slopes in no time).

Never set foot on a snowboard before? That’s not a problem. Our Taster Snowboard Lessons are on-hand to offer you the experience of dipping your toe into the world of snowboarding, and begin on the lower part of the 180m indoor slope (the longest in the UK, by the way!) as you gradually build your confidence. Choose from a three-week, two-day or even a single day course, depending on how much time you have to dedicate to your flourishing new hobby.

You will be introduced to the equipment and how to use it, which is surprisingly simple! Then get ready to be walked through the basics, like posture and balance. Think it’s the sport for you? We bet you will, and then you can move onto the Beginner Lessons.

Snowboard practice and Chill Factore - the perfect combination

Beginner Lessons are slightly more advanced, but really push you to understand how to snowboard in practice, rather than just in theory. Our highly qualified instructors will show you how to use the lower main slope, along with mastering the art of ‘toe edge’ and ‘heel edge’ (where the toes and the heels rest on the board). Remember, everything is done at a pace that suits the learner, so you will never be expected to do anything you’re not comfortable with!

If you feel like skiing is your forte but that there are a few areas you could brush up on, then an Improver Snowboard Lesson could be the one for you. If you’re ready to jet off on holiday, you may benefit from our intense one-day lesson, featuring 6 hours of teaching. Take the plunge and see what you could achieve!

Developer Lessons are for confident snowboarders that want to add a few more tips and tricks to their repertoire. You can focus on edge change, grip and pressure, to ensure that everything you do from now on is done with expertise. You also get to take to the main slope, and whizz down the whole thing! Only when you feel ready to, of course.

So, if you feel like any of these options could be for you or to find out more, give us a call at 0161 749 2222 or email us at info@chillfactore.com.
