The Greatest Distance Skied By A Team Of Seated Skiers In 8 Hours


On the 25th September 2023, a team of 8 will attempt to create the world record for the furthest skied using seated ski equipment at the Chill Factore in Manchester. Please give your support to help more disabled people enjoy Snowsports!

The Raffle

The Story

Proudly supported by Berghaus and Chill Factore, on the 25th September 2023, a team of 8 will be attempting to create the world record for the greatest distance skied by a team of seated skiers in 8 hours.

The target is to ski further than 44 Km in 8 hours which equates to the team skiing the Chill Factore slope 38 times per hour on average.

The team of 8 is attempting the World Record attempt in support of Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) the money raised will go towards enabling people who have all types of disabilities to have the opportunity to take part in snowsports at adaptive snowsport schools across the UK.

Disability Snowsport (DSUK) provides individuals with any disability or illness the chance to participate in adaptive snowsports and live healthy, active lives. The money raised through the World Record Attempt will support DSUK to create life-changing opportunities through adaptive snowsports that help develop independence and create memorable experiences those with disability or illness.
