Job Title: Kitchen Team Leader

The Lodge Bar & Kitchen is a relaxing Alpine lodge located at the Chill Factore and has just had a £0.75m makeover.

Giving you a bird’s eye view of our Lesson Slope, our Snow Park, as well as our 180m Main Slope. The Lodge Bar & Kitchen offers the perfect place to sit back and relax, whether it’s watching the kids taking their first steps on the snow or whiling away the time watching some freestyle skills in action on a Thursday or Friday night.

The Lodge Kitchen team member is a fast paced role within our friendly kitchen team. It's an exciting and fun role where the ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and have a can-do attitude. If this sounds like the job for you, we want to hear from you!

The Role:

  • Lead and develop our kitchen team ensuring we exceed our guest expectations (NPS & Mystery Shop)
  • Deliver our operational standards and adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and legislation. Completion of daily, weekly & monthly procedures and standards.
  • Food preparation and delivery in line with cook spec books, par levels and per business needs. Recruitment, training & continued development of the kitchen team.
  • Maintain a “Score on the Door” of 5 with EHO visits.
  • Planning team structure and responsibilities on shift.
  • Responsible for arranging kitchen equipment repairs and consumable ordering, maintenance logs.
  • Maintain control of food stock and ordering, including storage and stock rotation and documentation with action plans and recommendations based on results.

 Requirements:

  • Preferably management in kitchen environment but not essential
  • Managing staff, including development, disputes and absence management
  • Experience in stock taking, management of P&L and reporting
