Skiing for Beginners  

From putting on a pair of skis for the first time, to completing your first exciting run of the Beginner Slope - your Chill Factore qualified instructor will be with you at each step of your learn-to-ski journey. 


One-day Beginner Ski Lessons - Only £135.

Ski Beginner Days start at Level 1 and will guide you through 5 hours of instruction, giving you the perfect foundations to continue to develop your newfound skills. The one-day beginner skiing lesson at Chill Factore is a group session with a maximum of six participants.
Not enough time in your schedule to take separate lessons? Whatever the reason, our one-day sessions let you pack in all the guidance and practice you need in one unforgettable day. 
N.B. To get the most out of your visit we recommend the Beginner Ski Day Lessons for those that regularly take part in other sports activities.

Minimum Age: 10+  (Under 12's must be accompanied by a full paying adult) |  Activity Duration: 5 hrs plus 2 x 30 minute breaks  |  Group size: 6 guests 















Three-week beginner ski lessons

Intense one-day and two-day sessions not work for you? If you prefer to learn little and often, go for our three-week beginner ski lessons. Enjoy three, short and exciting sessions over the course of three consecutive weeks and give yourself time to absorb your new skills before the next lesson.

Minimum Age: 8+ (Under 12's must be accompanied by full paying adult)  |  Activity Duration: 3 x 1 hr 50 mins (Same day & time over three consecutive weeks)  |  Group size: 6 guests

What clothing and equipment do you need?

The price of your booking includes boots, snowboard and a helmet. Gloves are mandatory or can be purchased for £6, we advise you wear a waterproof jacket and trousers.

Are you looking for lessons for a child?

If you’re keen to get your youngster the sport, check out our Kids’ Snow School — created for young learners aged 4 to 12. We’ve also got Kids' Ski Private Lessons available for children aged 3 to 7 and our 11 to 15 year old Lessons.

Things you need to know:

  • We recommend arriving dressed for the snow. From 19th July 2021 we will be opening a limited number of changing cubicles. Lockers are available to store your belongings.
  • We are able to offer our disabled guests changing facilities.
  • Gloves are compulsory - you can bring your own or purchase a pair on site.
  • Price of your lift pass still includes boots, skis, poles, or a snowboard and a helmet.
  • Helmets are mandatory - you can bring your own if you have one or you can rent a borrow when you get here at no extra charge. Our rental helmets are all thoroughly sanitised. You can also purchase a helmet on site.
  • All our ski and snowboard equipment, including boots and helmets, are carefully sanitised.
  • Age restrictions still apply.
  • While we recommend wearing a mask in an indoor environment, this will be your personal choice and will not be mandatory for guests or for our team. We ask that you respect each person’s own decision, and we will continue to provide a safe and clean environment for you to fully enjoy your visit.
