Skiing for Beginners 

 

 

 

Skiing for beginners is simple at Chill Factore. Our Beginner Ski Coaching Lessons are great for people who are new to the sport and want to learn from the ground up. From balance and posture, to controlling speed and linking turns - our beginner Ski Coaching Lessons will help you master the basics of skiing in a safe and encouraging environment.      

 

 

 

From putting on a pair of skis for the first time, to completing your first exciting run of the Beginner Slope - your Chill Factore qualified instructor will be with you at each step of your learn-to-ski journey. 

 

 

 

These coaching lessons are limited to a maximum of 4 people within the same bubble or household.

Ski Beginner Coaching Lessons - 1 hour 50 minutes

One-day beginner ski lessons - Only £155. Available from 17th May

An exciting day that takes you from beginner to skier! The one-day beginner skiing lesson at Chill Factore is a group session with a maximum of five participants. You’ll cover levels one to three over five hours of skiing tuition, which means you learn all the basics in one day.

The one-day beginner skiing lesson is ideal if you want to learn how to ski as quickly as possible. Not enough time in your schedule to take separate lessons? Whatever the reason, our one-day sessions let you pack in all the guidance and practice you need in one unforgettable day.

What clothing and equipment do you need?

 

 

 

The price of your booking includes boots, snowboard and a helmet. Gloves are mandatory or can be purchased for £6, we advise you wear a waterproof jacket and trousers.

 

 


 

Things you need to know:

  • Until 16th May members of your group must be from the same household or support bubble.
  • You must arrive dressed for the snow. We are currently unable to provide rental clothing or changing facilities. We are able to offer our disabled guests changing facilities.
  • Helmets are mandatory - you can bring your own if you have one or you can rent a borrow when you get here at no extra charge. Our rental helmets are all thoroughly sanitised between each use. You can also purchase a helmet on site.
  • Please note that it is now mandatory for guests to wear a face covering while inside the BEYOND building including Alpine Street, Changing Village and whilst participating in activities on the snow. This will be enforced.

By meeting the criteria for this new standard we have demonstrated that Chill Factore has the necessary measures in place to work safely during COVID-19 with respect to providing a safe place for our guests to visit and our team members to work.
